Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dailee mobile and web applications, the Dailee website and the related services (together, the “Service”), provided by [Company legal name], [registered address], [company registration number] (“Dailee”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use Dailee on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.
1. The Service
Dailee helps you and your team plan and track work: tasks and boards, workdays and focus sessions, schedules, time-off requests and their documents, reports, notifications and Lee, an AI assistant. Some features are only available on paid plans or inside team organisations.
We keep improving Dailee, so features may change, be added or be removed. When a change significantly reduces what a paid plan offers, we will tell you in advance.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address or with Google. Keep access to that email address secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- The information in your account must be accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to the processing of personal data, whichever is higher.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app. Deletion is permanent; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
3. Organisations
- Every account has a personal organisation. You can also create or join team organisations.
- Administrators of an organisation manage its members, roles, schedules, time-off rules and settings. Members of an organisation may see the tasks, schedules, workday status and reports that the organisation’s settings and roles allow.
- An organisation that claims an email domain may receive requests to join from people signing in with an address on that domain.
- The organisation, not Dailee, is responsible for how it uses Dailee with its employees or collaborators, including informing them and having a lawful basis for processing their data (for example for time tracking and time-off records). Where Dailee processes personal data on behalf of an organisation, it does so as a processor under the organisation’s instructions.
4. Your content
- You keep all rights to the content you add to Dailee: tasks, comments, files, signatures, messages and anything else (“Your Content”).
- You give us a limited licence to host, store, process, display and transmit Your Content only to provide and improve the Service for you and the people you share it with.
- You are responsible for Your Content and must have the right to upload it. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or contains malware.
5. Lee, the AI assistant
- Lee generates suggestions, summaries, drafts and task changes using third-party AI models. Your messages to Lee and the context needed to answer them are sent to our AI provider only to produce the response.
- AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review it before relying on it, especially before sending messages or changing tasks on behalf of others. Changes Lee makes to your tasks can be undone from the app.
- Usage limits apply and may differ between plans.
6. Plans, payments and activation codes
- Some features require a paid plan. Prices and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you buy.
- Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are billed, renewed and refunded by Apple or Google under their terms. Manage or cancel them in your store account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Activation codes grant the plan and duration they describe, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be limited in the number of uses.
- When a paid plan ends, the account returns to the free features. Your Content is kept.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to break the law or to harass, spam or harm others;
- access other people’s accounts or data without permission, or try to bypass security, rate limits or plan restrictions;
- reverse engineer, scrape or overload the Service, except as allowed by law;
- use Dailee to build a competing product or to train AI models on the Service or its content.
We may suspend or block accounts that break these rules, after notice where reasonable.
8. Third-party services
Dailee works with services such as Apple, Google, calendar and reminder apps, email delivery and AI providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. Device integrations (calendar, reminders, microphone, notifications, contacts) only work after you grant the permission on your device, and you can withdraw it at any time from your device settings.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Dailee available and your data safe, but the Service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Keep your own copies of anything critical.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dailee is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
11. Termination
You may stop using Dailee and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as liability and governing law) continue to apply.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [country], without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of [city], unless the law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live.
